Storage Instructions

Store in the freezer, thaw one day before feeding in the refrigerator. Once opened, store the leftovers in the original packaging or in a food safe container in the fridge.

If food is still cold to touch at meal time, it is optional to leave it out at room temperature or heat it up in your microwave before feeding. Or try both ways to see what your pup loves most!

Once opened, consume within 5 days.

Transition Guide

Transition slowly over a period of 10 days, and especially slow if your dog is not used to fresh foods.

Day 1-3: Replace current food with 25% of Root & Tail food

Day 4-6: Increase to 50-75% of Root & Tail food

Day 7-10: Increase to 75% and completely replace current food at the end.

If at anytime during the transition, your dog experiences loose or soft stool, go back to the previous stage for 2 more days.

It smelt good enough to eat myself! The texture was great, mixed easily into his kibble. He's usually a grazer but now he eats everything in his bowl.

Nice texture, thaws well, easy to portion. Would work well in a squeeze tube reward system too!

Tim LOVES his Sensitive Skin & Tummy food. Being a small dog, his meal sizes are so tiny when he is fed kibble, he is much more satisfied with these fresh cooked foods. And our mastiff Bruce literally jumps for joy (and shakes the house!) when he sees Root & Tail in his bowl!

My dog Yuki loves it! I just mixed some to her regular food and it's the first thing she eats.
